Portrait of LacOnTheTrack

I Came , I Saw, Now I Get To Work! My name is L.A.C. I was born in Tulsa, OK, and raised between my birthplace, and Los Angeles, CA. As a young child I was heavily influenced by music in my house. My father was a choir director. So, I grew up with the general understanding of instrumentation, and a overall music appreciation. From the age of about 7 I learned to search through records as a way to pass the time! As time passed I grew to love 60's and 70's soul music, and learning that the world famous GAP band was from my home town made me understand that fame was possible being from a smaller town. After highschool I found myself wanting to further my education in music, but I had to find something that was more attainable and still be close to the music industry. I came up with audio engineering! I decided to attend Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I graduated from MI with honors, and began my career as an egineer sweeping floors, and learning the industry from the other side. With my recording career underway, I took my rapping talents, and my production talents, and combined them to create my industry persona. Im now a seasoned underground vetran in writing, production, and engineering. I like to call myself a triple threat, because my talents are rarely seen all in one person. So, in short I wrote it , produced it, and I engineered it. -L.A.C.
