Rising from the clubs of San Diego, and the ashes of several local bands including the last band of the late “Ratt” guitarist Robbin Crosby, V Child broke into the “Indie Rock” scene in 2008 with their debut demo CD, V Child. Dave Rolland the editor of "CityBeat" magazine says Ken Najbert's fantastic baritone voice reminds him of early "Pearl Jam" and "Soundgarden" The band's latest single “It’s a girl” was recently showcased on “Good Morning San Diego”. V Child mixes Ken Najbert’s versatile and hypnotic vocals with effervescent guitar work to fashion a disc overflowing with well crafted and memorable tunes. Ken has played on stage with Weezer and was coined by Dweezil Zappa as “the human air horn”.
