Judge for Coma Ghost

Coma Ghost is excited to announce the release of their debut album entitled: Romance in Mystery.

official website: www.comaghost.com. Romance in Mystery is the culmination of two years playing live in
clubs all over New York City and New Jersey.
Coma Ghost has designed a signature sound that is both complex and accessible to their listeners,
featuring a hypnotic blend of haunting vocal melodies, ethereal atmospheres and crystalline guitarscapes
draped over a propulsive drum and bass rhythm section. Always a treat to see live, Coma Ghost hail from
the New Jersey coastline and New York City. Maude Ertel’s powerful vocals, sometimes reminiscent of the
Cocteau Twins, lead the charge as the guitar, bass and drums blend together a sonic whirlwind of intense
soundscapes. Coma Ghost can shift anywhere from subdued delicacy to hypnotic disco driven intensity.
It's not out of the ordinary for one of Neil Brown’s jazz influenced bass lines to precede an intense hard
rock sing-along chorus. While Dustin Sebes' guitar playing often stretches out into a mist of synth like
textures spiked with glistening shards of lead guitar, Chris Russo's intense percussion and dynamic drum
work, round out the Coma Ghost sound.
Between the four members of the band, their influences include artists from rock, jazz, ambient, trance,
shoe-gaze, pop and even traditional native cultures. With such an eclectic mix, they have managed to
sculpt a unique musical structure for themselves to enjoy and for their audiences to wander throughout.
