Portrait of Laverne Hill
Award winning Southern Gospel music artist, Laverne Hill, has released a brand new album. Three songs re-leased off this new album, entitled "Heaven Express", have found their way to the Southern Gospel charts. "I Was Raised On Grace", "That Same Sweet Jesus", and "They Could Not Cross Him Out".

At age 12, Laverne began singing in church. In 1992 she went out on her own, singing for revivals, concerts, community civic events, and church services. Laverne sings with a passion for the lost and a voice that has awarded her "Soloist of The Year", and "Soprano of the Year" by The Gospel Post.

For two years Laverne had the honor of performing at the "Pageant Of Peace" in the Lighting of the National Christmas tree in Wash-
inton, D.C. Laverne has also showcased and won recogniations in Nashville, released several songs on HMG, Lo Records, Eddie Crook and Songrite labels.

Laverne still looks for good songs and will continue putting out songs of inspiration from time to time. "I was raised a country (born in south Georgia) girl and I love playing my keyboards...singing a good ole Patsy Cline song. But my work and heart is in God's word and I just can't go against my raising".
