"Sons of Sirens" are made up of Andrew Stensaas-Vocals/guitar/piano/percussion, Richard Wilkins-Guitar/percussion, Scott Warner-Bass/percussion, Brian Bennett-Trap/percussion. What seems to have crept out of their subconcious are tormented romantics, birthed from the very womb of those mythical creatures known as Sirens. Sirens sing enchantingly beautiful songs to lull ships into rocks and shatter them (most popular reference, "The Odyssey").This imaginitive band believes that "Myth is Metaphor, and some music is so powerful that it can destroy the delapidated ship that carries a person, but the person needed a new ship anyways". People sail on their ideas and beliefs in this sea of time and existence. It's ok to be drawn to the melody of something new. It's ok to follow your heart, even if it leads you to the sharp rocks of change and the unknown. So, in consideration of listening to Sons of Sirens, I suppose that there are options as free willed vessels amidst the sea. You can "Shatter on the Rocks, or Cover Your Ears".
