Portrait of Domino Saints
Domino Saints is an explosive Urban Pop Duo from San Juan, Puerto Rico that have been tearing down the house with their live performances since 2007. Their mind-blowing fusion of Latin sounds and urban music along with captivating lyrics has put them in a league of their own. There style is a fusion of Dancehall, Bomba, Reggae and other Latin grooves with a Rockstar vibe that you can't miss. Since the release of their self-titled debut album in late 2009, they were featured as the Latin iTunes Single of the Week and were chosen as winners in the 16th Billboard World Song Contest with their smash hit "Buenos Dias San Juan" sounding in stations all over the US and Puerto Rico. The song created a buzz in the US and in Puerto Rico and exposed the group's original sound all over the world and got them featured in all Puerto Rican media outlets like AOL, AOL Latino, WAPA TV, El Nuevo Dia, Primera Hora, El Vocero, Clear Channel, and Batanga. Shortly after this they smashed New York's LAMC with several amazing performances. In 2010, the group returned from their US tour to work on their first full-length album with a promise to bring a killer album that will rock harder, party longer, and stretch the limits of their melting pot of musical ideas. The time for that is now, and their single and title of the album "Ahora es Ahora" says it all. The album features songs produced by Echo, Pepe Ojeda, Ladkani, and Danny Fornaris and brings in the best Puerto Rican musicians as well as the toughest dance beats. They just won the Independent Music Awards "Best Latin Song" Category for their smash hit "Ahora es Ahora". The release for 2011 of the album will show the world all the Domino Saints has to offer.
