Portrait of BaTTEY
BaTTEY - Seattle’s hottest band lead by guitar sensation Lawrence Battey delivers a Groove Rock, Psychedelic Power Blues, Funk and Jazz Jam Explosion. Mr. Battey’s incendiary guitar work and soulful vocals, gives a face to the thunderous drums of Doug McGrew and groovy bass lines of Jeff Brumley. Injected with the influence of blues legends BB King and Albert King, and mixed with the fire of Hendrix, Cream, and Led Zeppelin, Lawrence and the band cooks up an intensely laid back groove. Their live shows will take you on a euphoric improvisational roller coaster ride leaving you wanting more! Many fans and critics have put Lawrence and the band in the ranks of Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Stevie Ray Vaughan!

“...Groovy Stuff!”

Seattle's 102.5 fm KZOK - Bob Rivers

“Lawrence Battey and the dirty dale band is one of today's entertaining power blues band.
They have a WOW factor to their entire show, this band is not to be missed!”

Mark Naron, Music
Director - Washington Blues Society.

“The Blues Rock that Cream, Led Zeppelin and Hendrix created and flourished with; Lawrence and dirty dale has picked up where they left off and is pushing it forward.”

Freddy Celis - Roots Time Radio, Belgium
