Portrait of YoungDibiase

Brought into the world May 28th, 1984 as Cory Smith, but "Young Dibiase" has always been an appropriate name for the unique individual. Dibiase was diagnosed with Sickle Cell at birth. Realizing he has to work twice as hard, the blood disorder has proven to be a successful motivation in his life and career. The youngest of 5 grew up in a Military based family, and although he was born in Frankfort Germany, Kentucky is his home. Experience with alcohol, drugs, poverty, violence, dysfunctional family issues, and personal health issues at a young age have been the fuel that fires Dibiase's passion as an artist.
In 2005 while attending Western Kentucky Univ. Dibiase met fellow producer William "Ill Will" McBroom, they later became partners in ownership of “Hooligan Music Group”. 2006 Dibiase began working on his first project “Just Fury”, a promotional tool for the down to earth Single “Piece of Mind” FT. Bad Boy South/ Block Ent’s R&B Star Justin “JC” Crowder. Since the release of “Just Fury” the artist B.K.A. CORE, officially changed his name to “Young Dibiase” after battling three “near fatal” Sickle Cell Crises in less than a year. Following discharge on December 15th, 2007 Dibiase began recording “Million $1 Dream” symbolizing his strength, motivation, and optimism. The CD hit streets, local stores, and online retailers such as and iTunes February 23rd, 2008.
Over the years Dibiase has become one of Kentucky’s most promising and well round rounded artists, consistently releasing hit singles, and opening shows for Major Artist. 2010 looks to be the “light at the end of the tunnel” as Dibiase plans to breakthrough as on of the South’s new Regional artist. As of right now Dibiase plans to release “Million $1 Dream 2.0” in March 2010, Hosted by KYMP KAMP DJ’s own DJ Dizzie, which will also be followed up by Dibiase’s Debut album “HOOLIGAN MUZIK” in the summer.
