WOAH NELLY!The Buckaröux Banshees are a Midwest Rock and Roll band from Saint Paul, MN.  They are quite an eclectic bunch of musicians, whose singular goal is to create good tunes from the heart and soul.  Independent recordings and operations, this band is a true diamond in the rough.  Covering many ranges of lyrical matter and different styles of music, when you press play you’re getting a lot more than what you bargained for.  The group formed in 2011 in the depths of Unctuous’ basement.  Sheer boredom due to the always insurmountable Minnesota winter gave the Banshees motivation to create.  This isn’t your mother’s Rock and Roll band.  This is pure, unadulterated musicianship at its finest.  Imagine a finely tuned car, rip out the motor, hook some instruments up to it, add a splash of creativity, and out comes the craziest bunch of cow wrangling, bull riding, tobacco chewing misfits this side of the Mississippi.  Truly! Influences include everything from 1950’s swing - 80’s metal - bar-room anthems – 90’s alternative, hardcore punk, ska, reggae, and good old fashioned rock and roll.  They enjoy it all and want to play it all.  The crushing slam of the skins, the bone shaking rattle of the bass, the lightning fast shred of the electric guitar, joined with a trio of energetic, soulful vocalists will force any listener to crack a smile. This “in the saddle music” is sure to spark excitement to whomever ears it falls upon! ..... WOAH NELLY!Keep an eye on the horizon for more to come.  Full length album in the works!
