Chase Stain is the President and founder of the Arizona based record label, Bad Stain Records. Stain started Bad Stain Records in 1994 as a way to help promote his former band, Dirty Laundry. Over the next decade, Stain signed numerous bands, both local and national to the label. In addition, he released a number of compilation CD's, featuring a variety of bands ranging from Yellowcard and Less Than Jake, to At the Drive In and FYP. Stain worked with a variety of labels. Some small indie labels like Lobster and Recess Records, and other larger indie labels like Fearless Records and Fat Wreck Chords. He even worked his way up to working with major labels like Capitol Records. His love of music kept him busy throughout the years. Stain joined a variety of bands after Dirty Laundry called it quits in 2002, including Yar's Revenge, Forever Falling and Waiting for Tomorrow. Eventually, Stain formed Numbers On Napkins with two members from his band Yars Revenge. Numbers On Napkins formed in 2003, and released their debut full length on Bad Stain in December of 2004. The album was a huge success, producing the bands popular single, "Runaway" and the fan favorite, "True Love". Shortly after, Stain released his debut solo EP, "January". Stain released two more installments in his "Month" series over the next four years, and in 2010 released "The First Quarter", featuring all of the songs from the "January", "February ", and "March" EP's, plus two exclusive bonus tracks. Stain continues to release his solo music, and continues to play bass for the independent punk band, Numbers On Napkins.
