Romania-born Toronto-raised Clara Mustang is not your average 15 year-old. For one thing, she is a published poet several times over, having won Best Prose for Poets Across America and accolades through the Canadian Poetry Institution. For another, she's a self-taught pianist and guitarist with the vocal power of a young Adele and a flair for bleeding-heart lyricism far beyond her years. “I want to make timeless music that anyone can connect with or relate to. I want to write the kind of songs that make you question life.” Recent performances include a showcase for Mississauga's Transform Nation and a jaw-dropping set at Toronto's Cadillac Lounge, capped off by a performance of Janis Joplin's 'Me and Bobby McGee.'
