It was obvious we knew nothing about film in those days...nothing at all about who we were or our style. In retrospect we knew we didn't have a style. I'm not sure if even have a style at this moment in time as I write this. Perhaps by the time you...whoever you are, might read this and by then, I may have found my style...and you'll say, "OH, THAT was when he still didn't have a style...". By then what will it matter if I ever had a style or not? Enough rambling...good film is heartbreaking...it's beautiful...it's emotional...it's powerful.I just hope I can create film that does that. peace
