to Many characters to fill this space she is what you need. A walk in her shoes see where you end up.First discovered at the age of BIRTH. The Bloodline of a Womack, another Star was born. Surrounded by singers and musicians, Ajei at the tender age of 2 was taught by her Late Grandmother to read sections of the Bible to sing in church. It became an ongoing passion, so Ajei joined “The Shilohettes” Children's Choir. While in Elementary School, Ajei performed in many concerts with The Morton Street School Choir, in Newark, NJ. At age 15, Ajei grew into “The Shiloh Temple Adult Choir”, which made her interested in pursuing her music career even more. She would confine her self into her room writing poetry and singing it; to explore what route the melodies of her voice could go. Sunday after Sunday, in between Bible studies Choir rehearsal and school only allowed to listen to and sing church songs, contemporary Gospel Artists like Kirk Franklin, Yolonda Adams and Karen CLark Sheard gave her hope for barriers being broken in all music. In school talent shows Ajei started to perform and understand that singing what you experience can heal the soul, mind and body. Each poem/song that was sung or written played a deep character in her life that developed her. At age 16 entering high school, Ajei knew that she had to develop her talents mentally, because she was facing her peers, a challenge. Being interested in proving to her self as well as others, she entered Homecoming Pageants each year of her 4 years of high school. Succeeding twice winning in 1995 Mrs. B.K.A- Burger King Academy and 1999 Mrs. Junior using her gifts to conquer the audience, singing a song written by her, “Dreams of a Lifetime". In 1997 a non profit organization called “Sisters Who Make a Difference” awarded Ajei free studio time with, SOUND LAB, in East Orange NJ, where she was able to express her self for the first time in the boothe. Until 2001 Ajei join Uncle Profluent who Produced for ALPHA BEATZ ENT., D.U.S.E. and BILEVELZ doing numerous shows for hospitals, seniors and the Newark Community. In 2006 Ajei became the 1st artist of Tuff LYfe RECORDS, producer David Harris aka Dread. Since 2008 currently she has been writing songs to build up her musical skills. Currently, working with her other uncle Nuff from NuffSaid Productions, located in Maryland. She has also been offered contracts but has never signed any. Ajei states “Aside from Hard work; Knowledge,Trust and Loyalty is the Key to Being Successful within this Industry”.
