I have been interested in and involved in music for my entire life; I have been singing for as long as I can remember. At age fourteen, I began to study the guitar and fell in love with the instrument. I joined my passion for singing with my interest in the acoustic guitar by putting unique lyrics and melodies to chord progressions. I continued to write throughout my high school years. During this time, I began to play live at various venues. In the summer of 2008, I recorded five original songs! I draw most of my songwriting inspiration from everyday life. Although some songs are more personal than others, I hope that audiences will perceive my messages as somewhat universal. I am inspired by artists such as Alanis Morissette and Jewel.
