They have also been nominated for "Best New Local Artist" for the 19th Annual 2006 Boston Music Awards. A couple of tracks from the EP, We're Alright and Either Way are already in heavy rotation on the local music shows of 101.7FM WFNX and 104.1FM WBCN, 2 major Boston radio stations. The latter of which invited Appomattox to compete in the high profile 2006 WBCN Rumble. Following their sold out CD release party, Appomattox will keep playing their explosive live rock shows in Boston and New York City as well as up and down the East Coast. The band looks forward to touring the US and Europe whenever the opportunity may arise.
