Ashley (Nicole) Williams, Houston's R&B Sensation; was born May 28th 1986 in Bryan, TX. Migrating to the south side of Houston, TX at the age of three shortly after her father’s death.
Ashley was born into a vocally gifted family and has been singing since the age of five; She began performing/leading the choir at school and church at the age of nine. She continued to show case her talent through out Jr. High and High School at different school programs.
This 2004 Jack Yates Alumni has an eclectic group of musical influences. Whitney Houston, Missy Elliot, Judy Garland and Beyonce' are just a few of the artist that contribute to Ashley's versatility. It is her versatility that allows her to make the transition from opening for an R&B elite such as Musiq Soulchild along with Rickylee and Eyes on tha Prize, to featuring on songs with kings/queens of Houston's underground rap scene such as Slim Thug(H-Town State of Mind Remix) Killa Kyleon( Purple Punch 2 & 3), Kiotti(Almost Famous), Troublesum, Fiya, Surreall (Diva Remix), Yung Redd, Billy Cook( Slab Holiday Remix) and Kenika(Diary of a Hood Chick). With the recent release of The R&B Sensation Vol. 1, Ashley Williams demonstrates her ability to take ownership of R&B, Pop, Soul, Hip Hop, and Reggae soundscapes effortlessly. Ashley's internet buzz had a strong start on myspace.com. Through consistent delivery of quality material she has also developed a following on hear-it-first.net, jumpoff.tv, therundown.tv, swavet.com as well as youtube.com. She has worked with other leaders of the new school such as Sound Mob, DSF and Cy Fyre.
