John Dolan Russell: Vocals/Guitar The driving and creative force behind bombasticide, John prides himself on this band and their increasing achievements. For almost 25 years John has evolved through the ever changing music industry, constantly working to improve his voice and songwriting, both which are apparent on the latest release, "Scratch". With live shows coming fast and furious, the recent signing of a licensing deal with Canadian music company Octobertunes, the goals are slowly and satisfactorily being realized. Art Bromage: Lead Guitar A yoman of guitar, Art Bromage, like John began his music career 20 years ago and has played with some of the best bands in Southern California and Seattle. He's a master of many styles and apart from co-piloting Bombasticide, he plays currently with Nearly Dan, the best Steely Dan tribute band in the world, selling out the Triple Door twice this year already. Art's style, tone, dependability and extremely tight friendship with John brings a chemistry to Bombasticide that is the X factor many bands are missing. You must see him live, it will blow your mind. Ian Miller : Bass Bombasticide's backbone, Ian Miller is young, talented and more professional than many bass players twice his age. Charged with playing with two drmmers from gig to gig, the daunting task of matching Mr. Bromage note for note, and quickly learning the songs thrown at him by JDR with accuracy and his own creative bend, Ian even wrote the instrumental "Beautiful Disaster" on "Scratch" with a heavy deadline hanging over his head and as always, executed it with an experience well beyond his years. We love Ian! Dave Del Zotto: Drummer 1 In 2006 Dave joined us for what was supposed to be a transitional period. Well apparently he enjoys playing with us because he's played over 10 shows and recorded every drum track on "Scratch" with us. His background is in jazz and blues but we think he gets his rocks off with us. From tasty live improv drum solos to blastbeat tracks which push his comfort zone, Dave does nothing but execute and amaze. He is the hitman. Carl Martin : Drummer 1.5 Now since Dave has such a busy schedule and isn't available for every gig, we are fortunate enough to have the services of Carl Martin. Carl knows every song, his roots are based in rock and even though he's an evil Canadian his showmanship and pounding drums keep us on our toes when changing up our sets. As we go into the studio in late August, we're going to divide the drum tracks between Carl and Dave for an EP that we'll release before the end of the year.
