Chris’s musical career started with the band Warpath together with the original vocalist of Crash Diet, Dave Lepard (R.I.S). Chris tells that Dave was the first to teach him to play the guitar. Later on Chris joined the post-grunge band Dislife who played together for seven years. One of the songs Chris wrote for Dislife ended up on the sixth Halloween episode of the world wide known TV-show Dawson’s Creek. After Dislife, Chris started Chris Michols Band together with Karl Jansson and Peter Lindholm of Dislife. This project died out fast. Following this Chris joined up with some friends and started a punk/grunge band that would become Sam Law. Sam Law are still playing together. Playing with Sam Law there was no room for more mellow songs and Chris couldn't help writing them. Therefore Chris got himself a small studiogear and started to learn recording on his own.
Chris released his first full length album called The Long Road this spring. Right now Chris is focused on playing live, promoting the album, writing for next album and recording the new songs.
