About the Artist
Born and raised in Vancouver, Christine has always been active in music. Obtaining a Bachelor of Music from UBC in 2004, she began making music full-time. Currently running her own private music studio, Christine teaches over 40 students weekly in piano, voice, and guitar. Aside from teaching, she has sung with Juno-nominated vocal ensemble, musica intima, and has been composing & arranging music since 2002. In 2007, she debuted her first full-length album, entitled “Overcome”; Christine was able to bring home the award for “Best jazz/blues song of the year” from the GMAC awards. She continues to perform in Vancouver, and tour various parts of Canada with a variety of both mainstream & christian music. Christine’s future goal is to land a recording contract, continue to release new albums, and continue to tour as much as possible.
