Mixing the classic folk and pop sounds of the 60's with the energy of modern indie-rock, Daniel has created a unique style that is somewhere between acoustic folk, jangly guitar rock and piano-driven pop. Born and raised in Toronto, Daniel was born into a very musical family. After experimenting with several instruments throughout childhood he finally settled on the guitar at 14. He still plays keyboards, bass, and drums on his recordings however, establishing a true D.I.Y. ethic. Having only really starting writing songs since the spring of 2007 the young singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist has quickly developed a very poetic writing style sung over strong melodies, catchy guitar lines, and unique arrangements including - not only the usual guitars, bass, piano and drums - but also organs, strings, rhodes, percussion and even backwards violin! Daniel is currently recording the songs that will make up his debut album tentatively titled "A Future's Past" which should be released within the next year
