Danielle Nepstad

Raised and nurtured in the rural but artistically-rich Chequamegon Bay region of northern Wisconsin, Danielle has a passion for music as big as Lake Superior.

Danielle grew comfortable with the stage well before she ever realized that most people find the experience terrifying. She and her sister Jennie performed in numerous talent shows, and Danielle always seemed to land solos at all of her school events. Her pure voice has amazed audiences from her earliest performances, but it wasn’t until late 2009 that anyone realized she was a gifted songwriter as well, when she began recording demos of original songs.

Her original work earned local attention almost immediately, and in her first attempt she was named a finalist in the singer-songwriter competition held each year at Big Top Chautauqua, a 900-seat venue near Bayfield, Wisconsin. She performs for mostly local audiences, but dreams of expanding her reach in the future.
