David Vernon

David Vernon is a self actualized multi-artist. He began performing in his youth at Piano Clubs throughout the Midwest. When asked about his singing and who he trained with he will list a who’s who of other singers claiming this is how he really developed his craft. “Listening to other singers taught me how to breathe and how to phrase and articulate. From watching I came to understand how to deliver a song. I strive to approach a song with the interpretation from which it came, it’s a body of work, like a painting one must often by instinct alone know when and how to project which emotions”. In live performance David is focused, dramatic and engaging. Whether it’s lighter fare or more serious his delivery is intentional. In the studio recordings by David are often finished in a single take. Because he is a recording artist who works with many different style composers, he purposely collaborates with those involved at achieving what the composer had felt at the core of their composition.
