Dawn Williams

Dawn Williams was born in New Brunswick, NJ and was raised by a single parent mother of five. At a young age she was said to have a powerful and sensational voice, and so closely related to the sound of Gospel. Singing for as long she can remember made it natural for her to perform in front of one person or ten thousand people. Still figureing out that she was given a gift at birth, she had the will and drive to wanna share her sound with the people around her as well as for people around the world.

Singing for large numbers of people at a young age aided Dawn in to singing for millions today. She has always loved emotional, heart throbbing music and songs with meaning. Her focus was getting her audience's approval every time. This is what made her who she is: Hard-working, humbled, enthusiastic and focused. Her concern then and even more so now is her audience. She sings and reacts off of her audience.

Most of the songs Dawn has sang and continue to sing are considered Diva songs. Some of the songs she has written and is writing are diva'd, but because of an ever-changing music industry and sound, she can and has simpled her writting and style. Dawn thrives off a beat (ballets, mid-tempo's, up-beat, and dance), the vibe of her surroundings, more or less her life and the people in it.

Dawn Williams is an R&B singer with whatever you wish to sprinkle it with: Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Pop… Her singing style is a very Soulful Alto with a Sophisticated Sexy Soprano most often compared to: Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, and Stephanie Mills.

With focus, dedication, and hustle; Dawn can and will sing just about any song that is placed in her hand. If Dawn knows she can sing it and you believe she can sing it, then she will sing it!
