Dead Moons Grey, formed in Knoxville TN, perform original metal songs with classic rock overtones as well as covers like The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” and a rockabilly style “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash in their high performance show. Currently “DMG” is supporting the release of their self titled CD which is distributed worldwide by Soundmass Records. Their songs are also available on Itunes and are currently being played in retail stores such as ‘FYE’. Another exciting moment for the group is the addition of Brad O’Neal on bass guitar. Brad has replaced former bassist Jon Leonard who began flight school for the United States Army in mid July. Brad’s enthusiasm and aggressive playing style adds to Marcus, Steve and Dave’s already entertaining stage show. During the “off” times Dave is hard at work on a multi-styled side project called “Richmond Hill“ and Marcus, Steve and Brad have been working on “sixer6”, a rockabilly style project. The group as a whole find that working on separate projects lets them explore different music genres while keeping the idea of Dead Moons Grey intact.
