I grew up in Texas, listening to great country singers of the seventies and eighties riding shotgun with my dad. I can still hear the sound of those songs coming out of those speakers like it was yesterday. One day I heard George Strait singing "Down and Out", and I knew that instant that is what I wanted to do! I wanted to make music that made people feel something inside.
I learned to sing and play guitar by listening to those old songs and began writing songs of my own. I started a band and got out playing at local clubs at age 20. Since then there have been many highs and lows but I have never doubted that this is what I was born to do.
