About the ArtistDublin is a band from Leiria, Portugal, which appears as a product of the metamorphosis and elevation of a project called RiffHaze.
In April 2007, Pedro Pipa (guitar), David Xarreu (bass), Rodolfo Vitorino (vocals) and John Badjow (drums), four long-time friends, decided to start playing. A month later, attracted by the notes that arrived to the top of the street in the rehearsal days, Jacinto Gil (guitar) joined the formation. Time passed by and new originals emerged. They gave some concerts, in both electric and acoustic format. Their merit was strongly recognized in the 1st Portomar band competition at Mira where Dublin, still called RiffHaze, reached 1st place.
The audience’s acceptance during concerts and the strong belief in the quality of their songs made these five boys’ goals clearer. Soon the ambition of recording an album came up. This idea was accomplished at the beginning of 2009 at Marduc Studios under the direction of Marco Jung.
