About the Artist

No Recess is a new group made up of three members; Caleb is 14 years old and has been a DJ and Producer since the age of 11. Caleb recently started rapping at home with his brother, Kendall (age 12) who is also a member of the group. "I'm new to this whole rap thing but I really love music, so I'm gonna just do my thing." says Caleb. Kendall, 12 is also new to the rap game and really enjoys rapping and recording. His love of music came from growing up around the studio and watching his parents film music videos. "We have always been around music" Kendall reiterates. "We are fortunate to have met a lot of really great and talented artists. It's been an inspiration to see how down to earth most artists are and made me want to write my own music." All three boys write and record their own verses and hooks. DeQuwan is also 14 and is Caleb and Kendall's uncle. "We just got in the studio over summer break messing around and before we knew it, we had ten songs recorded in two weeks." says, Quwan (age 14). "It really just came together because we are family and we Vibe together." All three boys are athletes and honor students.
