About the Artist
Earl Wear auditioned for and won a spot on The Charlie Daniels’ Talent Roundup in Nashville, TN in 1995. Performing professionally since his late teens, it was another validation of his outstanding talent. Also in ‘95, he won the Western Regional competition for the True Value/Jimmy Dean Country Showdown. The successful Idaho country band Coltrain saw him and asked him to join them as their lead singer. He accepted, and they’ve been fillin’ the dance floor ever since! In 1996, Coltrain won the Northwest Regional competition for the Colgate Country Showdown. At the finals in Orlando, Florida they placed sixth in the nation, beating out 10,000 other acts. In early 2001, Coltrain debuted their CD “Walking to Wyoming” which features original material written by Bob Regan, former president of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). It has received glowing reviews from critics and fans alike, and has been played across the country and as far away as the U.K. It was re-released this year across the West and is in regular rotation on many radio stations, especially those in Wyoming. The CD is available for purchase through

They shared the stage with country stars Sammy Kershaw, Wynonna and Rascal Flatts, to name just a few. That same year they were voted “Best Band in the Pacific Northwest.” Earl & Coltrain have worked with over 50 of the best and brightest in the business, including: - Joe Diffie - Lacy J Dalton - Collin Raye - Tanya Tucker - Martina McBride - Daryle Singletary - Diamond Rio - Oakridge Boys - Confederate Railroad - Phil Vassar - Gary Allan - Neil McCoy. And, most recently, Blake Shelton, Crystal Gayle, Cross Canadian Ragweed and a special 2 night acoustic performance for Phil Vassar. These gentlemen are talented, professional and they put on one heck of a show! For more information, call Dana Ryan @ 509.991.8086 or contact her through the website:
