Whether playing in a frenzied arena or an intimate cafe, the immediacy in Eva’s eyes and honesty of her voice creates a truly unique performance. In over twelve years of touring the Midwest and Mid-southern states, Eva has opened for acclaimed artists such as Roger McGuinn of The Byrds, Nashville’s The Floating Men, Austin songwriter Eric Taylor, Warner-Chappel’s Jeff Black, Anna Fermin’s Trigger Gospel, Celtic-rock act Seven Nations, and Germany’s Fury in the Slaughterhouse, as well as being the favorite pick for many events in her hometown of Springfield, IL. She is such a consistent choice because her songs touch the heart and pull at emotions unlike any other artist.
“What makes [Eva’s] music so addicting is the emotion with which she performs - it makes the audience feel the music with her.” --The Daily Vidett
Hunter has just released her third studio album No Missing Pieces ( July 2009) and she has released two live albums. Her second studio release, Thirsty, is a haunting masterpiece dealing with turmoil and desires that did just as it said - made listeners “Thirsty” for more. She blends genres from acoustic, singer/songwriter and country to light jazz and rock - reflecting her varied influences. Her new album is a transitional album with songs about discovery and contentment with lighter and more upbeat grooves; a natural progression from the mood of Thirsty. Hunter can be seen this summer performing around Illinois, promoting her new album No Missing Pieces.

“Her voice has a tinge of sadness and pain that make the listener sit up and take notice...that will eventually define Hunter as one of the strongest rock singers around.” --Dennis Halsey / Best Female Musician.co
