Evan Atherton

Hailing from Savanna, Illinois, Evan began playing piano at the age of 6 and then took up the guitar when he was 13. He started writing his own songs when he was 16. Since then, Evan has formed and had great local success with the bands "Anti", "Strikeback", "Hope Bully", "Existent", and most recently the ever-popular "Everly", as well as performing as a solo musician. With his band Everly this performer won all of the midwest regional band competitions he entered in 2008 & 2009. In a recent Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser/ battle of the bands, Evan not only won, but donated all of his winnings back to the charity itself. Evan cites his biggest musical influences as: Weezer, John Mayer, and “every second of his life”. This singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist never spares the slightest passion for his music.
