About the Artist
With the aspiration of breaking the stranglehold of mundane indie rock music, Ex Norwegian burst into the scene with the song "Something Unreal" in the summer of 2008. The song quickly gained enough attention to send the Miami Beach based group to New York City, showcasing at that years CMJ Music Festival. Since then, the band, led by Roger Houdaille, has put out 4 critically albums: Standby (2009), Sketch (2011), House Music (2012) and Crack (2013). Despite various set-backs, including a 6-month break up in 2011 and several personnel shifts, the band has kept touring, recording and building their audience; with their brand of refreshing, hook-laden, quirky pop/rock constantly gaining new fans worldwide. Now, as part of the Limited Fanfare Records family, Ex Norwegian introduces a new lead singer, Lucia Perez, marking yet another exciting new chapter in the bands history.Technical Requirements:
Basic 4 to 5 piece rock band configuration. At least 3 vocals, drums, guitars, bass, and sometimes keyboards.
