Brandyn Cornell Ward also known as Lil B was born on January 20,1988 in Cincinnati, OH. He grew up in a household with only his single mother Erica Penny Ward, and sisters Ashley Thompson and Jessica Ward. Being a young man growing up in College Hill he found an early connection with the ladies. As he entered Jacob Center High School in the 8th grade he quickly began to be known as a clever speaker by his friends, and also a ladies man. It was in that school year that he decided he would try out rapping at the local talent shows. Transferring schools in the tenth grade and attending Aiken High School he used music as his networking device. Brandyn then met a group of guys and decided to create a rap group called “City Young“. After making music for a couple of years the group decided to go their separate ways. Brandyn didn’t let the break up stop him though. He then joined into another group called “Young Crooks” (Y.C.). That too didn’t last very than long, as the group members decided to also go their separate ways. 2006 came and Brandyn received his diploma walking with the Aiken High School class of 2006. His next step was what most high school kids did; go to college. After accomplishing two years of college at Northern Kentucky University he felt he wanted to take a break and work harder at his music. Early in 2008 Brandyn decided he was going to work as a promoter at a local club called “Club 7” . With the growing popularity as a promoter he knew it was time to come up with an official name for the people to become familiar with. He joined forces with home boys, Ed Lova and Mack Main to create the “GoodLookBoys”. It was in “Club 7” that Brandyn became affiliated with “Dj Smooth” who is one of the major club Djs in the city. After creating a friendship with the Dj, he found his motivation to continue on with his music. Dj Smooth saw the rapper in Brandyn and continued to remind him, “You have to stay serious about your passion for music if you really want it.” Dj Smooth became Brandyn’s official Dj. The duo then took their show on the road traveling to cities to Dj parties as the rapper hosted the events. It was in late 2008 that Brandyn dropped his first solo mixtape titled “All I know is Money”. Two of the singles featured on the mixtape were instant club bangers. He decided at this point, before he dropped his next mixtape he wanted to be known as "Mr. Goodlook". A year later in late 2009, the rapper decided to drop a single focusing on his ladies titled “ Barbiie Girl”. The song quickly became popular and the local radio station jumped all over it. He decided he would aim his next mixtape directly at the ladies. With the concept of supporting all the beautiful women he decided to title the mixtape “Welcome to the Doll House”. He worked together with the biggest underground producers and local artists in the city to create the hits you hear on the mixtape. Brandyn is currently focusing on making hits for the ladies because he knows if ladies like it the men will love it. Having an official video for the hit “Barbiie Girl” Mr. Goodlook is pushing the single into 2010 to start the launch of his movement
