On April 8th 1985, in the small town of Navasota, Texas, Pamela Thomas, at the age of 14, gave birth to her first child Michael D. Thomas. The result of a crime committed against her, Ms. Thomas was faced with the tough decision to keep her child despite the fact that she, herself was a child and she had no means of support. She and her mother raised a child who would later grow up to become an aspiring rap artist named H.A.V.O.C.
At the young age of 5, Michael and his family relocated to north Houston. Facing trials and tribulations such as poverty and hardship, the family would manage to survive. In spite of being provided with guidance and unconditional love, Michael would find himself tempted by the world. Imitating his peers and their lifestyles, Michael experimented with drugs and alcohol as well as disobeying Gods commandments.
On April 20, 2006 tragedy struck the Thomas family and Michael lost his loving grandmother who had always been a big part of his life. AT that point, Michael, feeling like his life had no purpose and being ashamed of his past sins, dedicated his life to Christ and committed himself to do God’s work.
In time, Michael found his calling, and in 2008 Michael created his stage name and founded a professional record label by the same called Having A Vision Of Christ Entertainment. This company was created to bring about a change in the music industry. With artist like H.A.V.O.C. and Alexis Neal signed to the label, H.A.V.O.C. is soon to be a household name.
H.A.V.O.C. now strives to please his Lord and Savior with every word out of his mouth and every action that he takes. The sky is the limit for this young gifted artist and with God on his side he surely has a vision of Christ.
