Jason Vail

Jason Vail was born in Austin, Texas. He grew up in a family of musicians. After becoming a drummer for his fathers' band; it wasn't until he saw Stevie Ray Vaughn playing on 6th Street that he wanted to become a songwriter. He was once quoted in saying -"That if Stevie Ray Vaughn could play guitar like that, he (Jason Vail) would want to play the pen just as well." After joining the military, Vail found himself always writing. No matter where Uncle Sam sent him, a pen and paper were always by his side; a segue to which would become his catalog of songs.
