J-Doughleone: Yeah Wuz Good this ya Boy Jimmie Doughleone aka J-Dough aka The Piffbury Doughboy aka Captain Hook. Representing Central Virginia out of a small town called Palmyra. Where Im from either your bored as hell or slanging dope! Aint to much to do when your surrounded by sticks Ya Dig!! Growing up was a lil rough considering I came up like most people grandparents with no running water no toilet! You know going to the out house to shit and going to the creek to get some drinking water but it actually made me who I am today so I would'nt take it back. I got started in music back in junior High with the choir but soon I realized I wasn't about the singing just more about the overall sound of the music wether it was coming from me or somebody else! Coming up I listened to people from Otis Redding and Roy C to Jay Z, Mobb deep and The Wu just to name a few. And me becoming a rapper never crossed my mind until my man Rythmic came to me one day like " YO I GOT THIS MUSIC EQUIPMENT YOU WANNA TRY AND START A LIL SOMETHING". And shit that was bout 6 or 7 yrs ago. The first song I wrote was actually a R&B joint for this female around my way that been doing her thing for a while now but that turned into a flop but It was a start to something great cause now Im versatile and something the game is lacking!!!! Far as a rapping deal it would be nice but Im gone do this SHIT EVERYDAY ALLDAY NO MATTER WHAT!! I think the deal hold niggas back from what they really could or can do. LaVa Camp is a production company that me and my boy started and it stands for Louisiana and Virginia cause he from the 9th ward down there. AINT NITHING HOTTER THAN LAVA!! LaVa Is consisted of producers, rappers, and much more all in a small package. i have recorded about 100 to 200 solo songs and god knows how many collabs. I be in the studio every chance I get and thats atleast 2 to 3 days a week. If I didnt have to work Id be in that bitch 24/7 Fa'sho!!! I aint never had writers block cause I just dont write it down I analyze the concept then attack like a hungry pit bull!!! I produce most of my songs but if not me its probably somebody on my team. Or somebody in VA!!! Im very serious when it comes to music cause besides my seeds thats all I got thats really mine. My style changes depending on the beat. If the beat say Kill a motherfucker thats what Im gone do If it say Sell some dope thats what Im gone do! Most people worry to much about what other people gone say instead of just doing what the beat say!!! I havent been fortunate enough yet to do any big time shows but all of that is coming in the near future. I love collabs cause another hot nigga will make you bring your A game cause Ill be damned if I let anybody smash me on a beat from local artist around here all the way to LIL Wayne. Besides Wayne I fucks with alot of MC's. Note I said Mc's if all you do is repeat your lines then you dont fall in that category. The game has been taken over by instrumentals. If the beat hot the album gone sell. Me Ill make a wack ass beat a hot ass song!!! In about 10 yrs I see myself brushing shoulders with hip-hop hall of famers and chilling up in Russell Simmons Communications calling shots!!!! I think a MC raps regardless and a rapper raps cause of the money! I dont pay attention to the Beef cause niggas aint gone do shit anyway so whats the purpose. Fuck listening to you talk about each other let me see yall niggas hands up in the streets and handle the beef. Cause words get niggas killed!! And these niggs aint dead yet so it aint about shit!!! If I could work with somebody it would be Ryan Leslie!! Many people wonder why but he is a music genius! I just think he could make me some beats the way I need them to be made with no questions asked. Although he is a corny ass motherfucker I still could rock with him though!! LMAO!!! As far as advice shit I cant say but be yourself cause thats the easiest way to be. Dont do what they doing just do you!!!
