Kara Willits is originally from Omaha, Nebraska.After graduating from college with a degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, she moved to New York City in pursuit of her passion - ACTING.Despite being a small town girl, Kara adapted almost over night and her perseverance paid off.Kara immediately began studying at T. Schreiber Studio, while modeling part time and free-lancing with several agencies.She also studied with Tony Greco and feels exploring and perfecting her craft is essential.Because of her drive, ambition and raw talent, she has been working consistently in film, television and theater.She recently completed the lead role in an independent film, which will be released in January 2007.Kara recently relocated to Los Angeles to explore even more demanding roles and is auditioning for the lead in an upcoming feature film with First Look Entertainment.She has extensive training in dance and piano, and enjoys singing, designing and most of all spending time with her family and friends, which she considers her core.Kara would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped and supported her on her quest.
