Meet Kendre‘, born Kendre Dequan Berry in Flint, Michigan, March 14, 1991 to Ken and
Telishia Berry.
Performing since the age of two, Kendre’ began playing drums which ignited his musical
creativity over the years along with the early training and inspiration that his mom, Telishia
provided.
At the age of seven his mom submitted a video to the Oprah Winfrey Show after it was
announced that it was a search for a kid to appear on an episode with Bill Cosby promoting
his book, “Little Bill”. Kendre’s video of him performing a Jell-O Pudding act with his
Puppet Jamal was selected and then aired on The Oprah Winfrey Show and his acting
career hasn’t paused since. He has continued to make appearances in various shows such
as Nickelodeon’s, “All That”, “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide as the Backpack
Boy, on HBO’s Emmy Award winning drama “Six Feet Under”. Kendre’ has also had guest
appearances on “Cold Case”, (ABC) Eyes, (NBC) “ER” and (UPN) “One On One” to name
a few.
Kendre’ the actor, we’ve known, now meet Kendre’ the rapper, Kendre’ the singer,
Kendre the writer and the music producer. As you begin to get to know him as a musician
and performer, I can assure you that it will be know different from the actor. His sound is one
that is going to be immediately embraced by all, whether it’s a rap song he created or an
R&B ballad.
This summer Kendre has already landed opening act appearances with singer Chico Debarge,
R&B legend Joe and Jammie Fox, to name a few. Our focus is to create a buzz and introduce
the world to Kendre as we move forward in preparation for his debut album release. His
project that contains the title track, “Get Your Mind Gone” is a sexy slow song for the ladies
and his second, “Shammin”, this is an up tempo dance song with a cross over feel where he
Is showing his ability to be a rap artist. It will be clear when you hear Kendre, that he
Doesn’t have limitations. This young man is a great writer and a great producer.
The age group that this young mans music will attract will be fifteen to thirty. He will be
very well received by thee Beyounce and Chris Brown fans. His creative talent once heard will
place him among the singer and entertainers in the business today.
