About the Artist
Born in Madison, WI, Kenny Kruel spent most of his adolescent years in Milwaukee, WI with his father and grandmother after his parents split up. After listening to his older cousin rap, he started free styling around the age of 10. "It wasn't anything serious when I first started rapping, I was just trying to be like my big cousin Jared." He eventually moved to North Carolina with his mother. His passion for music developed when he visited a home studio owned by local rapper/producer Ramadon. At age 12 he recorded his first song featuring his little brother titled "Me and my crew." "That day was crazy, I remember telling Ram that I wanted to record and he gave me a cd full of beats he produced. Then I sat in the living room, picked the beat out and wrote the song." Recording that song was one of the highlights of Kenny Kruel's life. He told himself that day that he would be a rapper. He is currently working on an album and dropping mixtapes under Stoneface Ent. He is planning on starting his own label as well called Street Lyfe Records.
