I'm a professional songwriter, singer, musician, poet, artist, sculptor, scriptwriter, and even a ventriloquist. I've had very moderate success and am still waiting for that big break in my "career". I've had records out on Monument, Dot, and Mega Records companies, and have been a salaried songwriter for Vintage, Combine, 4 Star, Frank & Nancy, First Lady, Richey Music Group, and MetroCountry Music, publishing companies of Nashville. I've had my songs recorded by myself, Eddie Arnold, Tompall Glaser, Lester Flatt, The Fox Brothers, Henson Cargill, Nancy Sinatra, and quite a few unknowns trying to make it. I come from a musical family on both sides..3rd generation of professional singers/writers on both sides in fact. My parents, both deceased, were Rockabilly legend Jean Chapel and her husband Salty Holmes of the famous Prairie Ramblers, who gave rise to Patsy Montana- The Cowboy's Sweetheart. My Father Salty was 3/4 Cherokee, and My Mother was Irish-German. I attribute every talent I possess to them and my ancestors..and foremostly to God. My family tree is an amazing thing..
