About the Artist

May Stands Still is a San Diego-born pop/folk band that quickly established themselves and their sophisticated sound as featured performers on the San Diego music scene, and now Los Angeles. Singer and songwriter Emily Herndon leads and defines their unique sound; her angelic voice and heartfelt lyrics reach out to listeners of all ages and demographics with a sense of class and grace rarely accomplished by artists at the young age of 23. She is backed by Berklee College of Music alumni, Asha Sukumar on violin/mandolin/vocals, and producer Wesley Cole Switzer on bass. The highly anticipated first EP, “Matter of Time,” is available as of July 2, 2010 on iTunes and on disc.
