Mike is one crazy guy. His energy and positivity is infectious.

His songwriting is versatile and intricate. One song sounds quirky and "indy." Another is late-70s punk. Another is a cinematic acoustic ballad. Yet another is a Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan...

Technical Requirements

All backline, amplifiers, and instruments will be provided by Mike and his band.

8 Mic inputs total -

3 for vox and backing vox

4 for drums.  2 overheads, snare, and kick

1 for guitar amp

4 line inputs total -

2 for 2 keyboards in mono

1 for rhythm/lead guitar direct out

1 for bass direct out

2 monitor mixes, one with mostly vocals, one for any other whiney member of the band (usually Mike…just kidding).

Mike loves and trusts Sound Engineers explicitly.  Front-of-house Engineers can mix reverb and compression any way he/she wants, Mike will probably love it.

Food and drink for the band is great if available.  Mike doesn’t care if it’s McDonald’s, Arby’s, or rabbit food.  He’s cheap and easy to please.

Lodging is great if available.  The band usually needs two rooms at any cheap hotel, or a camp site, or crashing in the trailer is fine.  Make sure to tell him if he needs to bring the portable grill.  He’ll cook you up a mean barbeque chicken.
