About the Artist
Mindlag Project is a French metal band born in 1999, which have recorded four albums. The band played more than a hundred shows, with famous headliners (Gojira, (hed)pe, Dagoba, Eths...) and has played its first European tour on May 2010 with Six Feet Under and Illdisposed, after a French one on October 2009 as a headliner. Mindlag Project is foremost an artistic concept, based on a dark and mysterious character called Jon De Grimpclat. He has a dual personality : He is, somehow, a Dandy who has studied classics to be a professor, but his principal extra-curricular activity is to be a serial killer… but a special kind, closer to a super-hero, because he only kills people deserving it. So, all the songs of the band are part of a concept dealing with this man, which allows them to probe human mind, and to make a kind of catharsis.Technical Requirements:
*a classic drum set with double bass*2 voices
*a cello (xlr input needed)
*2 amps for each guitarist (we have our microphones)
*1 bass
*some intros must be played on a cd
