About the ArtistMatt Tedder is a professional guitarist as well as an aspiring songwriter born and raised in Weatherford Texas. He has been playing guitar since age seven and has shown promise to the instrument ever since he picked it up for the first time. Matt had the privilege of learning to play from Dennis Dullea. Someone Matt still considers his greatest teacher/mentor and also a well-known guitarist in the Texas blues scene. After two years of gaining experience Matt began to exceed expectations, and has shown a promising future for his talent. At the young age of eleven, he was invited to play on NBC5's morning show and the year following, was invited to appear on FOX4's Good Day show twice. Since age 15 he has been playing notable venues throughout Texas. This includes the Dallas Convention Center, and performed two consecutive years on the Texas State Fair Main Stage. Matt's talents have even gone internationally, when in 2011 he was featured in a Turkish music video promoting nature. Through this he has gained many fans there supporting his music and his Turkish roots. His biggest inspiration, BB King, he was able to meet at age 12, at his concert at Bass hall. Matt had the privilege of conversing with the blues legend, and most importantly, gaining his advice about music. His other inspirations include, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, The Black Keys and The Beatles , to name a few. Currently Matt has been writing and perfecting his passion. He is surely to make an impression in the music scene in the future with his obsession driving him to make his mark.
