About the Artist

Along with what’s best in Portuguese alternative Rock, appears Monomonkey. They are: Ricardo Simões on vocals/guitar, David Silva on bass/ backing vocals, Bruno Julião, drums/ backing vocals and Pedro Lemos on guitar. Together, they build a bridge between experiences: their own, and ours, through riffs and beats, in a way that their music will always sound familiar. Leaving comparisons aside -for they wouldn’t be fair to this band – “Before We All Implode”, the band’s first LP, had its debut in April 2008. The record was produced by Marco Jung, and sees daylight through the label Rastilho, in parallel with Revolver Eventos, in a new and innovative project that aims to promote upcoming Portuguese talents.
