Montana Da Mac grew up on the Eastside of Atlanta, Georgia; the same area(Zone 6) as rappers Gucci Mane and the newcomer, OJ Da Juiceman. The lyrical force knew at the age of 13 that he wanted to be a rapper and make music. He began at that young age making music with a childhood friend known as Yung Fresh. Montana Da Mac was first discovered by K. Rich, the CEO of SavoirFair Entertainment, who is also Yung Fresh’s stepfather. It all began for Montana at the young age of 15, when he was signed to SaviorFair Entertainment. K. Rich finally had taken notice to the talented teenager and his son. He gave them an opportunity to form their own group known as the “Get Rich Clique.”With his new crew who eventually became the Real Money Gang Committee, Montana was able to hone his lyrical skills and his ear as a producer(he wrote and co-produced Rock On). Montana Da Mac, who has definitely branded himself in the Southern rap industry; name originated from the Scarface character, Tony Montana. Presently, this 21 year old young man is very versatile when it comes to the music because unlike many rappers in the industry, he caters to two different audiences; the women and the hustlers.
