Nate Davenport, a San Antonio singer-songwriter, began hitting the bar/club/restaurant circuit after he graduated from college in 2006. Since then, he has played anywhere people would listen, including both organized and impromptu gigs in coffee shops, churches, airport terminals, even the Nokia Theater in Dallas, Texas in front of an audience of over 6,000 people. While he has played several shows with a full-band, the heart of his performance has always lay in his intimate solo acoustic shows.
Using his education, Nate got a job as a web designer, which allowed him to put away enough money to cut his debut album. Nate found someone he could trust with his talent and material in
Mack Damon, an acclaimed, Grammy-nominated producer whom he sought out after hearing Mack's previous work.
On the strength of their work together, Nate is releasing his debut album, called Sweet Disaster, in early 2009, and will embark on a spring tour to support it.
