Chicago-based musician, composer and producer "N. Fina-T" took the road less traveled in music--she went to school. "Getting a music education was very important to me," she says, "I've always had this insatiable need to learn as much about music as I can." This need led to a BA in music. She attributes her daunting versatility to years of classical training. Active in Chicago's indie music community, N. Fina-T has written and/or produced music ranging from A' Cappella to Rock and many genres in between. Additionally, she is a multi-instrumentalist, lyricist, vocalist and arranger. Her philosophy is simple. "I'm all about musical integrity and authenticity" she says, "the quality of today's music is suffering because too few artists actually take time to study. But real musicians understand that they must continue to study for life." True to her word, N. Fina-T soon plans to enroll in Northwestern University's Music Technology program.
