Marcus Jones better known as Nutty was born to Oliver and JoAnn Jones in Wilmington NC. The youngest of two Marcus was introduced to hip hop at an early age. Marcus Jones better known as Nutty was born to Oliver and JoAnn Jones in Wilmington NC. The youngest of two Marcus was introduced to hip hop at an early age. He immediately fell in love with the art form. Redman, Outkast, and Nas influenced him to try his hand at rapping. While enrolled at NC A&T in Greensboro his lyrical talent was honed. Performing at any event from cafeteria battles to barmitzvahs and even get out of prison cookouts. Nutty reconnected with a childhood friend in Greensboro that attended barber school by the name of Roncin Sanders. Upon the return to Wilmington in 2001 Roncin's plan to start a label was in motion. Roncin proceeded to hand pick talent from each side of town that became Most High. After Roncin's murdeer the label's goals were continued. Nutty would later go on to open up for Young Gunz, Gucci, Yola and others.
