My wife and I have owned a new car dealership in VT for many years. Our son took over the daily operations of our business a few years ago and I am now spending much more time writing songs...my lifelong passion. I have had many Indie cuts and publishing contracts and collaborate with some incredible writers. Most notably, Nashville songwriting legends, Angela Kaset ("Something In Red"), my mentor, Bucky Jones ("In A Different Light"), Hall of Famer, Curly Putman ("Green, Green Grass of Home") Dan Demay ("If Something Should Happen") and Rob Crosby ("Concrete Angel"). Also, Country Artist, Ed Leavitt, Mitch Townley, Donna Opfer, Mary Haller, John Heartson, Susie Strange, David Smith, Michael Hahn and many others.
I am honored to say that Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is currently pitching one of my songs to major label artists. I was a 2012 nominee as the Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) "Songwriter of The Year" and my song, "It's All Country" was a 2013 nominee for "Song of The Year".
Upcoming cuts: Southern Star Indie Artist of the Year, Lynn Easterly on "It Might Get Loud" and "Guitars 'N Whammy Bars" and the Georgia Band of the Year, Runnin' Wild Band on "Fix This Truck."
My publishing company is, Bazonkers Music Publishing, LLC. I am a proud member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, SongU.com, Global Songwriters Connection and Tunesmith Pro. My performing rights organization affiliate is BMI.
