Philip Lathroum

About the Artist

Philip Lathroum is a country musician, singer and songwriter from Linthicum, Maryland. Born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, he is one of eight children. He is a gifted and powerful singer, as well as an inspired songwriter. A graduate of Western Maryland College, with a BA in music, he can play several instruments to include guitar, piano, and saxaphone. He played in his first band in high school, and has been hooked on music ever since. Philip's first recording received some regional radio play, and is a favorite at the local country clubs and bars in the Maryland area. He has entered and received awards in several national songwriting contests. Philip's album was recorded at Gerrick Alden Studios in Laurel, MD. Garrick works with many songwriters and artists, both locally and nationally and has done guitar and studio work for several major Nashville labels.
